[SUC] UPA Rules Revisions

Hiya,

Got this from the ulti council of elders. These are the latest revisions,
however some of these rules are up for discussion/ agreement between the
team captains of every tourney. A few things of note:

1. If you score and then unwittingly throw the disc away, it's still a 
score--as long as the player with best perspective agrees that it was a 
score. If there's uncertainty, the throw-away stands and it's a turnover.

2. If there's a strip in the end zone, the score stands.

3. Clarified: when there's a pick that doesn't affect the result of the 
play (i.e., a catch), the catch stands, but the defender gets to make up 
the lost ground before play continues.

Point no. 2 is quite critical to note. Personally, I don't quite agree in
having different strip call settings, i.e. in or out of the end zone
settings. Historically, strip calls cannot be contested, but 10th edition
revised it and made strip calls "contestable." 

I highly recommend that everyone should read the new rules (not only those
who attend the tourneys).
