I prefer option 1 because the women can watch and cheer for men (and vice versa) while we can take a break from a long point (instead of taking a break together and couldnt watch the game from other side as in option 2).
For the final, why dont we just have an all men vs. all women instead of having 2 winning team playing against each other (MEN, CAN YOU HANDLE US?!? :-p), men only play with left hands (if you are afraid you cannot win us, then the ladies can consider allowing guys to play with right hand (-;)
One more concern, how can we divide the team? Still RMIT vs. SUC?
I think this is a good warm-up for HAT and a good chance for the ladies to show their strength ^^ We can have fun but still have a chance to learn the tactics through a not-only-pickup game.
Any other idea?
Rgds,
Lien

Subject: [SUC] Men - Women game on Sunday 21Dec2008.
Dear all,
That's a big big big pity for those who missed pickup game last Sun (14Dec08). Yesterday was the first time ever we had a all-ladies match. Despite of 52 turnovers (I counted), our ladies seemed satisfy with that.
It's the weekend (21Dec) before HAT so base on what we experienced, I would like to suggest a small fun competition as follow, please read very carefully:
+ All-ladies game (5vs5 or 6vs6).
+ All-men game (6vs6 or 7vs7).
1) Option 1:
All-ladies is the game to 6, while all-men game is to 9. Ladies game will break at 2,4,6 while men game will break at 3,6,9. These 2 games will be played alternatly, means while ladies break men will play and so on.
After that, the final is between winner of ladies game and winner of men game. In this final match, men only allow to throw by left hand, catch by right hand is ok but must catch by left hand in the endzone. Whatever gender win this match will kick off Black Orc and rule Vietnam Ultimate World in 2008.
2) Option 2:
Same as option 1 but we'll play 2 fields instead of 1 then we'll have Final match and consolidation match .
Schedule:
3h30-3h50: Warm - up.
3h50-4h: Team gather.
4h-4h45: All-ladies and all-men game.
5h-5h45: Final (and consolidation)
Above is my idea, any ideas else, please share.
Regards,
