[SUC] Spring League week 1 overview.

To all Ultimate Lovers,
 
The first round of Saigon Srping League 2008 has passed with the suprising victory of Giant Black Pigsy over the Powerful White Monkey King. The White Monkey had overwhelmed the Black Pig with their vast force to 7-1 in the first half before experienced the most furious struggle ever seen from the Pig and finally borne the first defeat of 11-12. 
 
Meanwhile, it was a neck by neck match between Super Kung-fu Red Monk and The Mighty Blue River Demon in the other field before The Monk took 1 point lead over the Demon by a wonderful layout D made by Vu "tattoo" in the first half. It seemed an easy day for the Monk as were leading 2 points all the way till cap-call if the Blue Demon did not fought back fiercely with 2 points scored in row just right at the cap by Giang and a layout D made by another Vu. However, Demon's great effort did not help them to stop the Monk pulled off an improbable 11-10 win by the universal point. 
 
With powerful strength and super talent, the big brother Jensen dominates the current individual performance standings with 7 assists and 1 score while Steven, Tri, Vinh, Tuan Nguyen, Tuan Do should show respect to Sarah as she also had 3 scores as they did.

   1) Vu "non-tattoo": 5 Ds + 1 layout D.
   2) Vu "tattoo": 4 Ds + 1 layout D.
   3) Tran Thi - Tran Khuong : 3 Ds. 
 
The "Most D" score is just an approximate number because almost team did not keep stat on the D (Defence)  as they only focus on layout-D. Remember to keep stat on D to gain personal prize on "most D" to your team.

To all Spring Leaguers:
As we do not have the fields on the 6th of April, we've had to push back the league finals one more week, to the 27th of April, instead of the 20th as originally posted on the website. We hope this does not cause any of you too much inconvenience related to the 30th of April holiday.
