Hiya
Two things to update/ re-cap you about:
1. Mui Ne beach ultimate weekend -- it was a success and full of
wicked fun/ parties with 13+ players (two teams only) consisting of
RMIT, SUC, and some friends who are newly-inducted to ultimate.
Friday's game was an ordeal and a realization to most of the RMIT
players that running on the sand is multiple times more difficult than
running on the grass. However, multiple bids and layouts were seen,
especially women layouts. It was indeed an experience for most of the
RMIT students to play on the other playing field of ultimate! I am now
looking at a not-so-distant future to see a Vietnamese team in
Paganello.
2. Beach Ultimate Lovers Association (BULA) -- I am in contact with
Patrick (BULA President and a good friend of Stef Stevens) and Karen
Cabrera (Boracay Dragons) and we are talking about organizing the BULA
Asian Championships. The spotlight of beach ultimate has been re-
adjusted to Asia when the Philippine-Boracay Team won 2nd place in the
Open division at Worlds Beach late last year. Will keep you posted on
the news re: the upcoming BULA Asian Championships.
RMIT players: I'll leave it up to you yo upload the photos online and
share the file location to SUC and HUC. Here's hoping you'll spare
those party photos oh my...
