[SUC] Singapore Open wants you!

Hey SUCers,

The Singapore Open is just 3½ months away, and that means it’s time to start getting ready! All interested players are encouraged to sign up. If you’ve never participated in an Ultimate tournament before, the Singapore Open is a great place to get your feet wet and fully experience the bliss and addiction that is Ultimate Frisbee. Young and old, guys and girls, beginners and experts, all are welcome to come! 

Last year, Vietnam Ultimate sent 2 teams to Singapore, with both teams performing outstandingly. This year if there is enough interest, we may even be able to send 3 teams. That means a lot of playing time and opportunities for all of us to step up and develop our game. It also means more fun bonding experiences for Vietnam Ultimate! You don’t want to miss it. ;o)

So if you are interested in going to Singapore this year, please drop me an email with the following info:

   Name:
   Experience level: (beginner, intermediate, advanced) 
   Fitness level: (low, medium, high)
   Position: (handler, mid, deep)
   Probability of going to Singapore: (50%, 100%, etc.)
The details are as follows:


   Date: August 30-31
   Location: Farrer Park, Singapore
   Expenses: Total estimated cost is about $350 per person, including players’ fee (about $65), 3 nights in a nice hostel close to the fields (about $60), airfare ($150), and food and other expenses ($75). Once we know who is going, we can book the hostel as a team. Players should plan to arrange for their own plane tickets. Those who book tickets early may be able to find even cheaper airfares on Tiger Airlines.
