I'm looking to hire a Property Assistant at the Consulate General of
Canada. The starting salary is currently USD 819.58 for 14 months per year.
I'm interested in anyone with experience in project management, supervising
maintenance or contractors, or general administrative work. A strong
customer service focus is important as is being exceptionally proactive.

Provides property services to the Consulate including the planning and
execution of maintenance, leasing of properties, and managing assets.

Conditions of Employment
Successful candidates are required to submit to a personal screening for the

Job Description Summary
Under the general supervision of the Management and Consular Affairs
Officer:
1. plans and administers the maintenance of the Mission's staff quarters
and office;
2. responds to client requests;
3. assists the Management and Consular Affairs Officer in the acquisition
and allocation of Staff Quarters, Chancery and Official Residence;
4. analyses costs for the leasing, operation and maintenance of all
crown-held buildings, works and services, and the purchase, repair and
maintenance of all materiel and materiel service requirements for the
preparation of annual estimates and for post budgeting purposes;
5. plans and organizes the purchase, repair, maintenance, replacement,
and disposal of crown assets;
6. procures goods including fixed assets, and conducts disposal exercises
for surplus assets;
7. supervises the office cleaner; and,
8. performs other duties.
