What: Kunming Hat 2009When: February 7th and 8th
Where: Kunming
Why: Why the hell not?

Hello everyone! We here in Kunming are pleased to announce the first ever
Kunming Hat. A weekend of good ultimate, good weather, good people and good
times. Oh, the beer's pretty damn cheap, too. Escape the pollution and cold
that plagues eastern China, western China, northern China, central China,
and pretty much everywhere else in China that's not Kunming (we all know
that Hong Kong isn't really China). Come enjoy some of that southern
hospitality you've probably heard so much about.

The tourney fee is going to be pretty low, probably just around 300 kuai.
That includes: tourney food at the fields both days, dinner on Saturday
night, two free drinks at both parties (after the freebies, beers are only
10 kuai), beer and liquor at the fields, a tourney disc and a jersey. For
accommodations we recommend staying at The Hump Hostel, as that is where the
dinner and party on Saturday night will be. Dorm beds are 20-25 a night,
while those who aren't on quite as tight a budget can spring for a double at
about 50 kuai per night per person. Rooms at The Hump are limited and on a
first reply first serve basis, so if you plan on attending please respond
sooner rather than later.
