[SUC] Important SUC meeting Wednesday night!

If you care (yes I'm a nerd and I have a lot of time on my hands...):

PRINCIPLES OF ORGANIZATION

1. The club members shall elect a leadership group

2. This group shall have the responsibility and the privilege of deciding
all issues relevant to the club.

3. All members of the club have a right to vote on issues important to them.
As such, when the leadership group is discussing and voting on a given
issue, any member can participate in said discussion and vote.

4. Each member, including those in the leadership group, has one vote.
 Majority
decides.

5. If there are no members of the club at large interested in discussing or
voting on a particular issue, the leadership group shall decide among
themselves.

6. The leadership group shall announce to the members at large when and
where they will be discussing issues that are or may be of general concern.

7. The medium of communication between the leadership group and the members
at large shall be the SUC list serve.

8. A majority vote is needed to decide on an issue. As such, regarding
issues that are of little concern to the members at large, a number of the
leadership group constituting a majority that votes unanimously on an issue
shall decide on that issue.

9. If the leadership group has delegated authority over a certain issue to a
member or members of the club, that member or members can make decisions
concerning that issue without consulting the leadership group or other
members.

10. If desired, the leadership group may take the place of the club
president. Any other elected positions of the club, such as secretary,
accountant, equipment manager, etc., may or may not be elected from members
of the leadership group.
